Liberal Lord Mayoral candidate Councillor Shayne Mallard has thrown down the greatest policy challenge of an otherwise dull Council election campaign calling for Sydney to build three giant commercial office towers to take on Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai and even Melbourne.

Fair Deal for Car Owners in Sydney under Liberal Lord Mayor |
Liberal Lord Mayoral Candidate for the City of Sydney Councillor Shayne Mallard has continued his strong policy agenda setting campaign by announcing his Liberal Action Team's 'Fair Deal for Car Owners'.
"Owning a private motor vehicle should not be treated as a crime in the City of Sydney."
"If I am elected Lord Mayor of Sydney with my Liberal Action Team, we will end the Left's discrimination against car owners in the City of Sydney," Shayne continued.

Liberal Council to establish ‘City Guardians’ security force to fight street crime |
Liberal Lord Mayoral candidate for the City of Sydney, Councillor Shayne Mallard has announced the centerpiece of his Liberal Action Team’s election policies with the establishment of a special security force to target anti-social behaviour in the City’s trouble spots.
"Anti social behaviour and street crime associated with the out of control entertainment areas is the biggest challenge facing residents, business owners and visitors to the City," Shayne said at the launch of the City Guardians policy.
As Lord Mayor Shayne and his Liberal Action Team will recruit 100 hand picked City Guardians to be trained and equipped to patrol the street crime hot spots and implement a Council policy of zero tolerance for anti social behaviour.
